how do u seperate iron filings, wood shavings, sand, pebbles ,and salt from one another?

Use a magnet to get the iron, a seive to get the sand,salt ,and pebbles then toss into water to float the wood away and dissolve the salt, then dry the water to get the salt.

ok-how previous are you to start with? What year are you in? besides.... Use a magnet to get rid of the iron filings. Use a kitchen sieve to get rid of the pebbles. Then-in case you place warm water in it, and dissolve the salt, placed it by a filter out, and the sand would be caught interior the filter out. finally, the two flow away it, or boil it for an prolonged time, and the water will evaporate, leaving salt crystals on the backside. :) x Ginger, 14.... needless to say a geek (: x desire this helps x
