Actually, I think bees and bugs are more of a panic thing than even a car coming at you in the wrong lane. At least with an oncoming car, you can usually get over enough to be out of his way.
A bee on the other hand is really tough to keep track of and him buzzing all around can cause some people to have a kaniption fit.

When my husband is b*tching and giving driving advice at every second....and my kids are in the backseat screaming, and the bums are trying to wave me down with their signs wanting money, and my 3 year old is kicking the back of my seat telling me to look at the plane in the sky, and my 4 year old is yelling at me to pick up her toy she dropped, and people all around me are swerving in my lane because they are talking on their cell phones, and I am driving in San Francisco area rush hour traffic all at the same time at 5:00, and I am getting ready to go onto the Golden Gate or Bay Bridge and I am worried about an earthquake while I have my family in the middle of the bridge and it's gonna collapse.
My life....panics me.

Something shocking on the radio
An unexpected, horrible phone call
A spider is in their car, right next to them.
The person in front of them stops all of a sudden
They realize someone else on the road is out of control/drinking/not paying attention.
A baby or child or person in the back seat is having something wrong with them.
A child or baby is crying.
There are lots of things that can distract people and cause them to panic. You just have to pay attention to the road and drive safely. If there is an emergency, pull over.

Driving on an icy road and seeing some Four-Wheel Drive Cowboy in your rear view mirror, and he's coming about 60 m.p.h.
Aside to Barbie and Angel....I know a woman who bought a PT Cruiser that was assembled in Mexico, and had a couple tarantulas crawl out of her A/C vents while she was driving. WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

rocks flying off the truck in front of you and hitting the windshield, something jumping into the path of the vehicle, hydroplaning. Today I passed an undercover cop while doing 80 in a 65 mph zone and I panicked because I thought he got me. I guess he had bigger fish to fry.

the hood flys open smashing the windshild - happened to me once, only i paniced for just a second & got off the road but man what a scare

I panicked one time when all kinds of bees came flying out from under my car seat. I hadn't driven my car for a couple of days and I had left the windows cracked a little becasue it was hot. Evidently, some bees began making a nest under there. I nearly killed myself trying to get pulled over while trying to swat them away!
