How do you make a God's eye?

I am trying to make a gods eye for spanis class. I am using 4 dowel rods. do you know of any websites where i can find out how do make the different designs/patterns?

I don't know about a web site but just secure
the rods real well in the center and then start wrapping the yarn,string or what have you around
twice on each rod then move to the next rod and wrap twice and so on until you get the end of each
rod. Tie the end of the string tight and then add
tassels, wooden knobs,or other end pieces.
