Why doesn't Manny keep his big mouth shut?

I love the Red Sox and it is a HUGE deal to me if the Red Sox win tonight. I love Manny's HR production,but I sincerely wish he would play ball and SHUT UP!!!!!!!!

Now, why are you a 'HUGE' fan of the Sox and a bandwagon hater of Manny? What did he say that was so bad? He's a baseball pro, having a dynamite post season, by the way, and you want him to histrionically throw himself around the stage like a Shakespearian actor and bellow (in perfect unaccented English): Oh, woe upon the continent! Alas, the Sox lost their game, oh, woe! He's professional and honest. You want acting, watch a movie. You want good baseball, watch Manny. Don't be a bandwagon bigot. Let me say right of the bat that the Sox stink...always have and always will.....now to the subject "Mr Manny Ramirez"...what did he say except the truth.....these guys make so much money that the can not stay as motivated as you as a fan....it just means a lot more to you then one of these "rich like we will never be" Guys.....how can you expect them to say as hungry as you do for the Red Sox and I do for my Yankees....just get used to it....these guys don't really give a hoot when it comes down to it.....they got all of the money in the world do why should they even care....they are spoiled, pampered and coddled.....it is the money....they have it so pride does not count any more.....I could never be this way......but of course, I have to work for a living and will never make in my lifetime that he probably made in one season......maybe even half a season!....GO YANKEES! Manny normally does keep his mouth shut! That is who he is and he's right Red Sox fan, there is always next year and after tonight that is all you will have to look forward to.

A guy plays hard in the playoffs, comes up big in the clutch and has to deal with the constant media scrutiny of every win and loss. He said it like it is, I'm a Yankees fan and I like what he said. We are going to play hard like we do every game and if we don't win, it's not the end of the world there is always next year. He's right it's just a game, what is he supposed to say if we don't win I hope I die tomorrow, my life will be over.

Because he is an idiot. Johnny Damon even said so when they won the WS he said the whole team was. I just think manny doesn't want to be there anymore he never has for at least the past 3 years he wants to play for the Yankees he even said that once before that his dream growing up was to play for the New York Yankees. That is what most kids who play baseball dream about they never say I want to be a redsox.

what he said last nite was nuttin, all he said was if they lose it's not the end of the world, he said he was gonna give it his all, and thats all u expect from a person. If they lose yes it is just a game and move on. REMEMBER 9/11 now that is sumthin that means sumthin, baseballs just a game and if the team u root 4 loses, big deal , remember don't cry 4 them they're makin their money.
