I'm am 6w 2d today. On Monday I had an ultrasound (5w6d) and the baby had a heartbeat of 170bpm and my HCG levels were at 15,400. Today my levels (3 days later) are at 20,100. Should I be worried?

In my practice, once you have an ultrasound and see a heartbeat, we don't even check HCG levels any more. A beautiful little heartbeat means a lot more than those numbers! :)

I do not take into account the numbers however my HCG wasn't growing adore it used to be meant to with my first youngster. The medical professionals had been worried that I could miscarry and my frame could abort the being pregnant. I take into account going to the medical institution daily for approximately per week to track my HCG stages. Fortunately, I carried my son to complete time period with no longer headaches. Just chill out and cast off the entire pressure out of your lifestyles till the whole lot will get bigger. You'll be nice.

I don't think you should be worried at all do to the fact that your hcg did go up but also once you get that heartbeat it's very unlikely that something will happen especially since it is so high.

Usually you do want your hCG levels to double every 2-3 days. Did your doctor seem concerned and ask you to come back for another test? I don't want to worry you, but a similar thing happened to me and I did miscarry.

No, not at all...Beta HcG is the pregnancy hormone that rises the further along you are in your pregnancy. You would be worried if the levels were dropping, not rising-dropping levels may indicate a misscariage. Congratulations!!

Once you reach high numbers like that they start to rise slowly, every 4-5 days they double. I'm sure you are fine.
