if he/she can't be specific, i would ignore it.

if you want to have goals, that's OK.
Where do you want to be 20 years from now?
10 years from now?

answering those is the start of defining your goals.

hey some one once told m i didnt have a persnality... um, ok that would me i was vegged out in one spot on the crapet or the floor, doing nothing, interested in nothing, but forget that, man even if i was vegged out infront of tv i'd still have personality (one quality= i like tv.& vegging)
now, when your brain is working, and your doing things and you living life and you ESPECIALLY like who you are- then FORGET this person.... ok, ok dont forget but tell them, i am who i am, and the right time will come that i will set goals for myself as of now i dont want to... thats YOUR CHOICE!!!!

Personally I don't like to make goals before me. Goals just limit my horizon and make me feel like I am enchained. I like freedom.

Of course unless i am in chaos, i would chose not to make goals. they come by themselves.

Ask them what they think you should chnge and then be brutally honest with yourself. No matter how much it hurts. We can be in denial and not realize it.
As far as goals, what do you want in life?
