The reason could be that you are good at your job, but, you do not fully comprehend how to address a situation without causing it to become further ignited causing it to heat up instead of bringing it down so you can walk away contented. Some people become agitated by the tone of your voice or you throw your weight about....always think first and then perform the action required.

The same reason I send my employees who are great at customer service to customer service training. I'm sure it has nothing to do with whether or not you are sensitive enough, but it's any opportunity to expand your knowledge should be taken.
