how do you know when your preganant while taken birth control?

I had been on birth control pills successfully for 11 years when I found out I was pregnant. I had no normal pregnancy symptoms and actually did not find out until I went in for my regular yearly physical. When my doctor was doing my pelvic exam she said my cervix felt pregnant. I didn't think it possible I was pregnant and my doctor didn't think I was either, but she had me pee in a cup for a pregnancy test just to rule it out. She said several things can affect how the cervix feels and pregnancy was the easiest to rule out. I had been having periods right along and the only odd thing I was having was stomach pain whenever I ate. Not nausea or vomiting, just pain. I also had heartburn which I had never had before. We were both quite shocked when the nurse brought in the positive pregnancy test. I was speechless and my doctor said it could be a false positive. So, she brought in the fetal Doppler machine and we were both speechless when we heard the little heartbeat clear as a bell. Since I had been having periods, we had no idea how far along I was. I had an ultrasound and I was 17 weeks along already. My other kids were 18, 15, and 12 when our little surprise joined our family.

a women from my family was on birth control and she is pregnanct and she cant tell one day we were all sitting togather and when she stod up her clothes were full of blood and then she went to the hospital right away and she was pregnant i really dont know about other ways or how a women can tell but i think she will have some of pregnancy signs that can make her think about it but taking a home pregnancy test is the better to do good luck
