My boss fired me soon after I revealed that I wasn't a Christian. I had a co-worker, she was the leads sales person, who lectured me on Christianity all the time, I lost my temper and told her keep her Christianity to herself. I was fired for arguing with her.

I don't beleive in a higher power.

PLEASE read these guidelines and facts before you give an answer.

1. It has to be legal
2. Don't say sue, because I wont. It is too hard to prove.
3. I live in a small town
4. I want them to suffer for violating my rights.
5. This isn't a question about the best religion.
6. I would like them to go out of buisness.

Thank you.

"Move on" "Grow up" those are answers by people who allow themselves to be victimized time after time.

I am standing up for myself.

It was not fired for a legal reason. They told me it was because it fought and didn't get along with the lead sale's person, and the only thing her and didn't get a long with was when she told me Jesus needs to save me.

They never ask if I was a christian, and in my state it is illegal to.

They hire you a will, but they can't fire you for reasons that violate the law.

Talk to a reporter for your largest local paper, see if you can get the story published, also local media such as a radio station - the higher up you can go the media chain, the better. You have been discriminated against and your constitutional rights violated - consider contacting the ACLU, even if you don't intend to sue.

If you live in the USA, what you describe is a totally ILLEGAL ACTION by your boss AND your co-worker.... you CANNOT be fired due to religious beliefs NOR is another co-worker ALLOWED to "PREACH" to you during working hours.... the one who SHOULD have been repremanded is your former CO-WORKER... I know you said you don't want to SUE, but what the boss and co-worker did was BOTH illegal things and you should FIGHT it-... the least that can happen is you get your job back and ALL back pay and benefits you have missed since the firing... or just take them to court, win the case (which you WOULD) and then tell them to take the job and SHOVE IT.... other then that, any kind of revenge is STUPID and CHILDISH and something a PRE-TEEN might do but not an adult...!!!

1. Go to a fax machine( preferably out of the town you are in!) with piece of BLACK paper, put paper in fax, send 100 or 1000 copies to the M***********'s. It will tie up the line, use all the toner in the fax & annoy the S*** out of the W@nker that sacked you. Trust me i've done it!
Not sure about the legality of this( it's alot of fun, so it must be illegal)
Screw the religion bit, it's all double standards anyway.
Tell everyone you know about what happened, in Australia we call it the Bush Telegraph, you tell one person who tells another, etc, etc, story spreads like wildfire.
People start to avoid the shop, you walk past, head held high
centre finger held even HIGHER.
Revenge is a meal best served cold.
Hope this helps.

There is no gropunds here. I know you don't want to hear it, but it is so.

You were hired at will, that means you can be let go with or without reason, any reason, at any time, and you can quit with or without reason at any time too. That is a risk all emploers and employees tak absent a contract.

Still, I think if you really want revenge, that you can think of something yourself. Just remember, "revenge is a dish best served cold". Also that "the best revenge is living well".

If they did indeed fire you for not being a Christian, then it would seem that their policy is to only hire Christians, which makes me think that a) you deceived them when they hired you to make them think you were a Christian, or b) there's another side to the story. Either way, I don't think your rights were necessarily violated.

But regardless, I admire your desire for the revenge to be legal. The best way to go about it would probably be to open up a competing business or something like that.

Put up a website that exposes their antiquated ways, and then post advertisements to the website so people go there and check it out.

Are you sure you weren't fired for some other, legal, reason?

From your list, I would say open up a competing business or join a competitor and steal their business.
