my friend can be really rude sometimes, and I don't even think she realizes it. Whenever I tell her that she's being rude, she gets mad at ME and I'm always the bad one. She's extremely stubborn, for example, a few days ago she promised me that she'd come with my to a club after school, and right when we were leaving our last class and walking to the room that it takes place, she changed her mind and just left me alone without saying anything, but eventually came back, but was really mad at me and said that I "owed her a lot". She's also very controlling! I feel like I always have to do what she wants, or I'm on my own, and whenever I ask her to do a favour for me I'm also on my own. I want her to realize that she's not being a good friend, but without her losing her temper. I have another best friend who I barely ever see anymore. I'm trying to make friends, but I'm really shy.. is there any way I can change her?

tell her that she is treating you like crap and that you are not going to be friends with someone who treats you like that. and she can get mad..but if she has no other friends then she will come back to you and change. but idk about the making friends thing..be nice to everyone. even the people you dont want to be friends with. cause people with good reputations..the word gets around. try to get back in touch with your best friend you dont see anymore..i kinda have one of those friends too. i call her and we talk and every once in a while we will hangout..

Just be honest with her and if she starts getting mad or yells tell her that that's the reason why you wanted to have a talk with her. She needs to realize what she's doing on her own, not by you telling her. You should just be honest and see how she takes it.

Tell her the truth and let her get mad, and tell her when she can be honest with herself and own up to her bad behaviors you'll talk to her again and not before.

You cannot change anybody. A friend is somebody with whom you can both give and take. Not give, give, give, give, maybe tomorrow take. My best friend and I owe each other money, but we stopped keeping track long time ago.
