I think it depends on where you live.
If you live in the US, where people automatically condemn anything that is strange and different, then there could be a problem.
If you lived in the UK, France, Germany, Australia, Canada or New Zealand, I think it would be good.

That's horrible. First off, it looks like a boy's name. I thought it said Daniel Henry when I first looked at this post. Like everyone else has pointed out, no one will ever pronounce it right and even if they did it would still be awful. Don't do this to your kid. How about a nice normal name? Your child's name sets the tone for her future. I mean seriously, tell me one CEO whose name is out of the ordinary.

I would never think to pronounce Daniej like that, it looks like (DAN-EEGE). Too confusing for people to pronounce. I do think the Henri for a girl is cute & different. Henrica maybe with NN Henri?

Henri pronounced like Henry or Onray?
I knew a BOY named Henri (Onray)
And nobody knew how to pronounce his name.
And I don't like the first one. Agreeing with everybody else, that will be a tough childhood!
:)

That's horrific. Daniej looks like a boys' name, if it even is a name. Henri is most definitely a boys' name.

I'm not crazy about it. Daniej is just too alien, people won't know how to pronounce it. And Henri as such is a boy's name, they don't work too well for girls in general.

Sorry I don't like it. I don't even like Henry for a boy. Good luck and congrats!

i agree with the teacher!! :)
my son has a normal name , i wouldnt of called him anythign out of the ordinary for the reason of him geting teased at school
name sticks with a child for life! it has to be the right one!
but at the end of the day, its your decision! but i can imagine it wont be pronounced right either,
Sorry to put a downer on it, but i dont like it

As a teacher I see kids torn apart by their classmates because of their "odd" names. Don't do it to your child. They'll thank you for it later.
