Yes it does. It goes back to a discussion the other day about not being able to hear tone of voice through the written word. It is much easier to 'read' the teasing once you know what the voice sounds like. That truly makes a difference and helps at least slow, if not stop, the reading between the lines..or the worry that your typed words will be taken the opposite of the way they are meant.

I like the Internet better. Not a phone type at all. Wouldn't mind meeting up with a regular chat buddy. Then it would be awesome if our common interests really took off in conversation. Sounds kewl!

Yes it does ... once I was having a horrible day, but listening to the voices of a couple of people from here really brightened it up.

no, its really weird hearing someones voice after you have this image and idea of them already in your head. then they sound different. and since you are used to only chatting with them online its wierd to actually talk to them, useually there isnt much to say since its awkward.
