The age when you get out of your parent's house and support yourself ;)

You don't have to be 21 to get married, I was 19.

In any case, the age to "do whatever you want" really doesn't exist. You can never do everything you want to do, there are always going to be restrictions put on it or consequences. Sure the normal stuff like buying alcohol, playing the lottery, driving, etc. has a certain age you need to be and then you can partake in them. But what about robbing a bank? Stealing a car? Lots of people WANT to do those things but can't.

I'm going with age 4. You can run around the house, throw things, eat candy and everyone thinks you're cute.

The older you get (like 21+) means the more responsibilities you get. No more doing what you want, you have to do what the bills want.

The age is 18yrs old... you know why?
'Cause you can still live at your mom and dads house and enjoy all the comforts (as long as you follow there rules of course) but any thing you do out side of the house will be totally on you as a adult!!!! You go!!!!
We as parents try to raise our kids to be normal human beings in society and if you choose not to be at 18 you are legally on your own....... be good!!!!!

How about when you can pay your own bills, you live in a place of your own and you have a job. then you can still do whatever you want with some self-discipline. Its called being an adult and being responsible. its not something you get,, its something you earn

No such thing.
You still have to obey laws, workplace regulations, building rules or housing authority, moral code, etc.
When you are completely independent of parents financially,
you get more choices - you get to choose which aprtment rules you will follow, which mortgage brokerto pay, which car payment plan to follow.
They are just a different set of choices.

there is not an age you can do what ever you want, because there are laws, so do what ever you want, and its against the law you go to jail..do whatever you want while your parents are still responsilbe for you, its grounded, or whatever so NO..there is NOT an age to do whatever you want

The day you get your own place & stop living under your parents roof.
The day you get a car and have a job in order to survive.
Then you can do whatever you want. but before that I doubt it..
but whats the rush?
