(this is just a fantasy thing, but can you just imagine though) can you possibly imagine what a healthy line of crosby, ovechkin, and lecavalier would put up in a 82 game schedule?....the goals, the highlight's the assist's, the passes(I often think about things like these, but what would a line like this "realistically" put up without exaggerating?)

If that happened, I'd hate to see all the posts from puck bunnies about which line is the cutest, or which player from that dreamy L-OVE-CROS line is the best looking, etc.

That would be a devastating line. I don't know how Lecavalier would fare, only because he is a center and not a RW. However, I could easily see each person getting 100+ points on that line. We could see it in the All-Star game if the votes worked out.

BTW - a line I use in NHL video games is Ovechkin-Crosby-Iginla, but you could insert whatever RW you wanted to in there (Marian Hossa, Martin St. Louis or someone else)

This would be an amazing line. Period. But the real question is would a coach put all three together on the same line? Barring a Power-play, I think not. I mean think about it. Who would be great enough to complement those three on a second line? First off, The CBA does not exsist in this topic. Thats obvious. The numbers would be great. #8 and #4 would go head to head for the "rocket" trophy. #87 would set a record for Art Ross' s in a row. It would be ridicilous.

The results would be scary. Crosby, Ovechkin, and pretty much any other star in the NHL would be amazing to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing Hossa or Heatley on the other wing either. I'd expect about 20 more points for each player if they were lined up together.

It'd probably still be the most productive line in the NHL, but if you think about the numbers and the amount of shots each of them take, do you really think they'd all get their proper scoring opportunities??

I don't. But I'd still put money on 60 assists from each one of them and around 90-110 points in a season if they were on the same line.

well, if they would work well together, the sky is the limit. 50 goals each, 50 assists. but, that might not happen. as a bolts fan, i know that a lot of lecavaliers success is a credit to his great chemistry with martin st louis.

i do not think that this is the best line. crosby and lecavalier and possibly datsyuk. Ovechkin is not really the best passer.

Well, I guess the salary cap IS good for something, because a line like this would never exist (but I think that is pretty much understood here)

Anyway, Vinny is a natural center; I really can't picture him playing right wing

Quite an impressive line. If you have the most recent hockey video game, you can put together a team and find out.

they probally would have no chemestry what so ever. also who would protect them? and the other two woudl get mad at crosby for whining all the time. and if the other two got more points crosby would probly get selfish and go for more goals. I dont see it working out
