refresh my memory- what did carter lie about?

Not only did Jimmy Carter serve proudly in WW11 while George W Bush used his family connections to get a coveted slot in the Texas Air National Guard, then lied that he had not been given preferential treatment. Failed to show up for a physical to assess his fitness for duty, then lied that his personal physician was unable to do it , if you have ever been in the military you know that all the physicals are done by the military doctors. Then he went off to Alabama and was not heard from again until he requested a early release to go to business school, and being who he is or who he was the son of , it was granted. Then there was his two dui's that were magically expunged from his record after he was called for jury duty and a new drivers license with a new number minus the DUI's, courtesy of I can't recall Al Gonzales

I think it is impossible for anybody to say other than God. But regardless I'm going to go with Bush for the simple fact that Carter still thinks he was a great president and I have never met another person who thinks that. So, he cannot even be honest with himself and thats an important part of being honest.

Jimmy Carter is a dumb hillbilly who has done much harm to our nation. Bush is a new world order guy who has done great harm to our nation. Both are practicing Christan's and are honest men

Whether you like Carter or not, he is a much better human being than W.
When Carter left office he spend many years building homes for the poor and setting up Habitat for Humanity. When asked what W would do when he left office, he said that his father and Clinton made millions in speaking engagements, so he was going to refill the coffers and make lots of money as well. This coming from a man that made millions already from a sweetheart deal where he brought into a baseball team for very little and walked away with tens of millions when the city financed the ball park with tax payers dollars. His parents are wealthy as well and he stands to inherit tens of millions as well. I would say he is a very greedy little man, and for all Carter short coming and there are many, he still is a far better person
