PC stands are "Personal Computer".
Nowadays, it means "a machine running Microsoft Windows" where as a "Mac" is running MacOS from Apple.
In the first meaning, Macs and Windows boxes are both Personal Computers, but PC is gradually turning into meaning just Windows.

PC stands for personal computer. Personal Computer means a small computer that has a microprocessor, for one person to use at a time. This generally refers to Windows/Linux computers, but Macs fit in this category as well.

If you do not own a computer, PC means you have a PERSONAL CRISIS. The way to solve the problem ? Get a computer--laptop is best in my humble opinion. This is being typed on a laptop.

It is reffered to as a "Personal Computer" and is usually used to represent any computer using an Intel or AMD Processor and running any for of the Windows Operation System.

By definition it is a 'Personal Computer' being a desktop computer not a laptop. However most people refer to it as a PC that runs Windows.
