i hate tv. it does absolutely nothing for you. you cant even interact with the dang thang! also people watch too much tv. example: my grandparents drove 1100 miles to see my family and what does my dad do? he watches that dam tv and gets mad at me because he cant hear it! wtf! so why do you hate tv? (if you do).

I can't stand TV sometimes. I sometimes wonder why I even have cable. I told my Mom we ought to be charged by how much we watch the stupid thing cause our cable bill would be so low. We hardly ever have the TV on in the day time. We might watch it a few hours at night but if we have company we don't turn the TV on. I think that is so rude. The people came to see you and you are going to sit with your nose in the TV. I've been to people's houses to visit them and they are watching TV and I am trying to talk to them and half the time they don't hear me because they are listening to the TV. I feel like I should leave so they can watch TV. There have been times I have done just that. I got so mad last this past July 4th. I had a cook out at my house to celebrate Independence day and my friend and her husband ate and sat down in my couch and turned on the TV and ignored everybody. We were all eating, socializing, playing games, and having a good time but they sat with their noses in the TV. I couldn't believe it. Also, last night she was here and had to rush home so she could watch TV with her husband. There are more important things than the TV set. I think this country would be better off if they could realize there is a time and place for the TV set. OK, now you got me on a rant. LOL.

I have been cable free for three years and I don't miss it one bit. I hated TV when I was a kid. All my family would do is argue over who gets to watch what, why my mother always has control over the remote and what movie to watch during the so called family night. We'd argue for an hour or more over what to watch together. Warm and fuzzy indeed. My father would end up storming off to the pub not to come home until the next morning. My mother would drink at home, I would end up in my room and my sister would watch the same damn care bears video each week. I hate TV and what it does to families.

Sorry mate, i love it!! you may want to should be a very impressionable individual to take each and everything that occurs on truth television as 'genuine'. You do watch ppl being fake, stupid, mean, devious - yet when I turn the television off at evening, I dont provide it a 2d idea, coz i comprehend Im no longer any of those issues and a stupid television instruct wont replace who i'm! truth isnt for all and multiple, yet i'm a voyeur and prefer to analyze ppl and their habit.

Hahaha, my mum is the same. She moans if you go off and don't spend time with her, then she watches TV crap all night and at full blast! She's one of those people who thinks that you're gonna die if you don't have a TV. She practically forced my sister to get one, even though my sister was never in to watch it!
I hate the TV. The adverts wind me up and make me tense, and the programmes are just crap. Anything worth watching ends up on Youtube anyway!
Why waste life watching someone else living it??

OMG I FEEL THE SAME WAY!!!!!!!!! I dislike when they also spend the ENTIRE time on the computer when you have family here from far away and you are so into the lap top that you don't do anything but YELL!!!!! Constantly saying everyone is bad luck around them and noise makes them lose their tournament! I dislike both when company is here, it's those people that should have your attention not TV or Computer!

i dont hate tv, i just dont like it. i will watch it though. but your right.. i mean it fills peoples minds with lies and stuff, and people are getting overweight because they'd rather watch tv then go outside. my neighbor has 3 kids 2 are eight and the other is ten. they dont have a tv.

I'm with you. TV sucks and it takes time and energy away from people. It also distances relationships and makes people stupid. it becomes an addiction for people and so much of the stuff on it is garbage. You know what they say, garbage in, garbage out. And you don't want to get me started on TV's in cars.......

I don't even have cable, I only watch it when I visit my family. I like a little bit of stuff, like animation, CSI, forensic files and stuff like that. The only stuff I watch on my TV is DVD's.

ME ME ME!!! I can't f'ing stand it. I refuse to even turn it on!
My MIL is addted to the tv I'm serious. She spends days infront of it. Sleeps and eats infront of it ... Its constantly on .. I don't get it!
