Yes... you can buy stage rockets that have special engines that you place in series. I don't think you can just use the normal 1 stage rockets.

I launched a three stage rocket where one rocket would fire one after the other. When one was done it lit the next one. It was cool to watch.... but I forgot to put that fire protection stuff between the parachute and the engines and it burned up in mid air. Cool to watch, but only got to do it once.

Getting the booster to ignite the second stage reliably
Getting the booster stage to separate cleanly
