It was the 19 hijackers.
1. The US was not "the most secure airspace on earth." Saying that is "sloganism" and it's at odds with the simple fact that we didn't screen passengers well enough & that the cockpit wasn't secure.
2. There was no evidence of bombs.
Columbia University has permanent seismographic recorders that were running on 9/11 which clearly show no explosives during the collapse of Towers 1 & 2, or of WTC7 .
See page 2 of
http://www.implosionworld.com/Article-WTC%20STUDY%208-06%20w%20clarif%20as%20of%209-8-06%20.pdf
3. To say we needed to "spread the Bush compaign" is saying what?
All we got out of 9/11 was that we had to spend trillions of dollars in a quagmire of a war that kills our brave soldiers.
Was that our motive?
It's the vagueness of the supposed motives that shows how weak they are.
4. Metal did not "explode." Some conspiracy theorists think that the puffs of dust ejected from the falling towers proves explosions. They are ignoring the simple fact that this happens all the time when a building collapse, therefore it means nothing.
Structural Engineer Jon Magnussen says it is fairly common phenomenon in building collapses. “You could actually have a collapse starting at the top of the building, and the air could come out of the bottom, going down the elevator shafts. It finds the path of least resistance.” (Pop Mechanics, “Debunking” p.45)
===================================================================================
WTC 7
The fact that WTC7 collapsed even though it wasn’t hit by the planes is not surprising.
Even though they were NOT hit by the jets, numerous buildings over a wide area were hit by debris from the collapsing towers and were destroyed.
This includes: The Marriott World Trade Center , 6 World Trade Center, 5 World Trade Center, 4 World Trade Center, and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (which wasn’t even in the WTC complex). The Deutsche Bank Building was also outside the WTC complex & was massively damaged, and was declared a total loss in 2004.
As for WTC 7:
According to NIST "On about a third of the face to the center and to the bottom — approximately 10 stories — about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out." See http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html?page=5#wtc7)
WTC7 was only 400 feet from WTC1. Since WTC1 is over 1300 feet tall, as they pealed away, the large perimeter columns from WTC1 struck WTC7 & many other buildings with terrific force due to their high starting position. Archival photos shows perimeter columns lying on the ground up to WTC7 (http://www.debunking911.com/pull.htm )
In addition, WTC7 was built straddling a Con-Edison substation. This meant that its walls had to carry a tremendous amount of force and were vulnerable to impact. In addition, WT7 contained numerous fuel tanks for generators, some holding 6000 gallons of fuel, & this contributed to its destruction.
Finally, at least 6 fires started in WTC7, each of which was described as “large” but there was no water to fight them. The fires were left to burn because the building started to lean and firefighters decided it was too dangerous to enter.
Workers testified that the east side slumped, then collapsed, pulling the rest of the building with it.

bombs didnt bring these buildings down.i was there and saw the whole thing.the buildings collapsed at precisely the point the airplanes hit them are you suggesting someone went into 8 stories of pure hellfire and planted bombs?
geez...are youre suggesting someone planted the bombs at precisely the point the planes hit?those pilots werent very good in fact the second plane almost missed the building entirely and if not for a drastic turn at the last second it would have.why plant bombs anyway when you have 2 planes loaded with 20000 gallons of high explosive jet fuel?

The questions that really puzzles me about the "conspiracy theories" is this:
If we compare what, according to these conspiracy believers, Bush did, to what Nixon did do in Watergate, what Nixon did was nothing and look at what the media and the Democrats did to Nixon. How could a thinking person believe that the media and the Democrats are keeping their mouth shut, if they would have the tiniest of actual evidence about what these people claim????

Part of WTC folding like deck of cards was due to a highly train force hijacking the two planes that flew into it. Loose Change DVD raises some interesting question. Month ago read stuff calculated by engineer that raised question. Steel melting from open flame raised question. It seems there are far more question than scientific proof.

I really do believe with all my heart that it was the terrorists that brought down the buildings and killed so many innocent lives.
That was a very sad day for all of us.
I am a Jehovah's Witness and many of our Brothers and Sisters from our Main Headquarters in New York went and preached down at Ground Zero to comfort the people. This was a tragedy and Jehovah God knows the truth and that's all that matters.
Everyone that was responsible for this will be held accountable by God.

No, it was not a conspiracy. It takes 3 months for a crew of people to control explode a building that size. Not to mention 3 buildings.
Also, too many people would have to be involved. Control tower personnel, security, popular mechanics, democrats, republicans, building engineers, news reporters, and citizens. NO FRIGGIN WAY.

I do not believe that the WTC was brought down by Al Qaida terrorists. I think people should do their homework and investigate it further. Tower 7 wasn't hit by any planes but came down just as cleanly as the twin towers. I also don't believe that the U.S. army had anything to do with the towers' collapse and I think GWB is merely a pawn and incapable of planning anything on that level.

Guess it really not matter what I think. It happened and that the bottom line. I guess we may know the truth 20-30 years from now when nothing really happens other than it change a History Book. Sad, but, this how I see it.
