I know that this is pretty rare, but has anyone out there had children born with teeth? Did you have to get them pulled? My son is four months old and will be seeing the dentist on Monday. I just wanted to get an idea of what may happen.

The teeth are smaller than normal and seem to be yellowish in color. I have been brushing them, but it doesn't seem to help. Also, they are starting to separate as he grows.

I have a friend who's daughter was born with 2 teeth as well. The doctor told her that this happens sometimes. He did not refer her to a dentist though. He told her that she would be fine, but if she did start having problems then take her to a dentist. Her daughter is now 5 years old and still has those teeth. She has just started losing her "baby teeth" and the dentist still says they are fine. They will fall out on their own eventually and her "adult teeth" will replace them. I wouldn't worry too much about your son's teeth though. Good luck!

Why would you have to get them pulled?! Some babies just get teeth sooner than others. I heard a woman say that her daughter started getting 1 tooth each month from the time she was born. It's weird, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

It happens now and then, but I don't think the dentist should pull any teeth. He just has a head start on some of the other babies his age.

Not totally normal but it does happen. The dentist will probably just leave them alone and let them fall out on their own.

My cousins daughter was born with them. They said they were calcium teeth. She just let them be. They eventually fell out.
