Once someone is in a deep sleep, you can ask them questions softly and they will likely respond. Chances are they won't remember the occurrence in the morning because they wouldn't have fully woken when they gave the answers. But its not the same as hypnosis since the person didn't undergo any process to be hypnotized, they were just already relaxed. Besides, if a person was asleep, at best you would get a few comments. You wouldn't get them to bark like a dog or pretend their on a roller coaster. I hope that helps. :) EDIT: Yes, absolutely someone can put ideas into your head while you are sleeping. Your ears will still hear, and you will process the information, although you may not have any recollection of the occurence.

No. Your cerebral cortex goes into sleep mode when you rest. You have to be awake for hypnotism to be effective.

No,you can't when your awake unless you let it.It's not an involuntary thing.
