From CNN, Nobel winner says blacks less intelligent and incurs comments denounced as racist( 8% UK polulation are africa)

Why people are so sensitive to race, we can say black has talent in sports but we can't say they are not good performance in acdemic, is this racial card to play in politics? is there freedom to speak ?why europe get so many different race immigrants and incur racial problems by themself?

Welcome to your opinion, we can pretend people are color blind and every one is equal, but you can find many universities enroll black students much lower scores than white and asian because of equality. How do you explain that?

Why asian country will never get immigrants from other race, even one ? because they are smarter?

Mr Pirate is correct, Judging people by race and taking every little remark as racism are very stupid too because they are less intelligent to debate the topix and simple use sticker(You can buy a lot of post it in Staple for $1).

There are difference between races,most people admit the facts, our society need to create opportunities for every one to be his best. and Everybody should think about his advantage and disadvantage and how to get his advantage full used. Some people play racial card to get their best interests. As long as Dr. Waston didn't make hate speech based on race, he can talk as you want to( even most people avoid this sensitive topic), he is not politician.

For those sensitive people, why don't do it from yourself,improve yourself, learn from Collin Powell, be excellent and get respects from every race and every nation.

Judging people because of their race is stupid.
People who are from a minority and take every little remark you make to them as racism are veeeeery stupid.
Nowadays, people think that because they are from a minority everything you tell them can be labeled as a racist remark, which is, well... stupid.

and don`t go around thinking I`m some southern tobacco chewer who has it against minoritys (this is also racist). I`m from Argentina and I belong to the world`s smallest minority: Smart people.

Though I have to admit, I work in an offshore call center and most people I talk with do seem to dislike the fact that someone from south america is talking to them. I have even been called monkey a couple of times which shows the grade of tolerance I deal with.

So bottom line: stupid people, say stupid things and guess what? the number of stupid people is increasing on a daily basis so you might as well shrugg it off and think who made the remark... a stupid person.

Hi, I'm from South Africa, which is a country where race previously had massive implications on everyone's life as I'm sure you all know.

In my experience race has nothing to do with academic intelligence. I personally have met : bright, dull, sad, happy, creative, boring, angry, paranoid, chauvinist, sexist, racist, drunk, smelly, idiots, dreamers, tall, short, fat and a bit in between from every race, black, white, brown, Gucci, Prada or whatever other niche people put themselves or others in.

Guys "let the truth set you free" here is the big secret. Were all the same........

Intelligence or academic performance has nothing to do with race. You are not born smart it's something that's nurtured and built on, and has nothing to do with genetics. The percentage may indeed be correct but it is very incorrect to use that as a way of labelling all black people as stupid as I'm sure people will do. You need to realise that every person's an individual and is capable of reaching their maximum potential if they chose.

People have been indoctrinated and acculturated to believe you can scrutinize whites, blame whites, denigrate whites, etc. and to believe all sorts of nonsense about our abilities and advantages. But we were also indoctrinated and acculturated to never say anything mean about blacks for fear of being called racist. So if someone thinks outside the box and makes an observation everyone freaks. It's white culture being filtered through black culture. It just doesn't work. People have to pick their country and the culture of their country and just accept it and stop the madness already.
