Yes it is definitely hard...
to wake up when it's still dark outside. Sunrise isn't until about 7:45am here now.

Yeah, it's tough, but then I think about how much more I've done by the time many people wake up. Life is too short to sleep it away. Not that I don't occasionally sleep in til maybe 8 or 9 AM, but an early rise is so refreshing! Walking to the end of the drive to pick of the paper in the crisp morning air. Take in a deep breath before the pollution takes over the morning and look at the sun almost ready to rise.
Mornings are one of God's gifts to man. God bless America where we are free to enjoy it.

It's hard for me to get up in the morning, period. But, yes, it is much worse when it is still dark outside!! I am so NOT a morning person!! ;-)

It's hard for me to wake up in the mornings period as I normally don't feel like waking up.

Yes and no. I hate it if I have to get ready to go somewhere. If I don't have to go anywhere, I don't mind sitting in the dark sipping decaff and letting my mind wander where it will. I have often woken up early in the morning and not been able to go to sleep, and I do that, and I also sit and talk at God. ...Sometimes I'm sure he doesn't like what I have to say, but he never talks back at me about it... ;)

Omg yes i have to every morning but i do it anyways because i really value my education and i don't want to miss a day of it. Not in a nerdish way but I want an actually future and not at McDonalds! Its also cold every morning...i dont like being cold unless im about to go to sleep.

Not really. I get up at 4:45 during the week, so it's dark pretty much year 'round for me. The dark days are what's hard - so depressing!

Hell yeah! I just half open my eyes, grunt, shut my eyes again, turn over, hit my head on the wall, mutter some sleepy obscenities, get up zombie style, walk into my ceiling lamp (not intentionally) and trip over several items of the clothing on the floor before finally switching on my bedroom light and discovering that bright lights really hurt your eyes that time of the morning...
