What happens is that Manning makes his WR and the staff around him play better.
What did Harrison do when an above-average Harbaugh was the starting QB? Exactly, his numbers were ok at best.
How Brandon Stokley was a 1000 yard receiver?
When Edge got hurt, how Dominic Rhodes had a 1000 yard season?
If Addai was so great, then why the Pats took Maroney (21st) over Addai (30th) two years ago in the draft. Furthermore, now that Addai is hurt where this guy Kenton Keith came from?
BTW, Manning has beaten the Pats the last 3 times, 2 of them in Foxboro, which was the reason why the AFC championship was played in the RCA Dome.
And yes, it's much easier to win with a top defense that keeps the score low and generates opportunities than a good supporting cast. See Dilfer and Brad Johnson.
Finally, what has been Brady's better comeback? I don't remember him overcome a deficit of more than 10 points, while Manning had the AFC championship comeback and the Tampa Bay game.
And don't mention the Super Bowl winning drives as comebacks, because the D didn't let the Pats get behind in the SB games and it's not the same pressure when the game is tied and you need to move the ball to the feld goal range, than when you need a touchdown and need to gain the toughest yards while the distance to the TD becomes shorter.

Sounds as if you can get an argument for either of the QB as being the best.
I personally like both quarterbacks. Now which is the best?
The best QB is determined by what system you place them in . If the system is beyond them they will be failures. If the system fit their style they will be successful.
I think both these QBs are in a system that fit there style therefore both are very successful.
Measuring a QB by the number of SB rings one has is by no means a fair way of measurement. Stats are also not very good , but an indication that they are comfortable with their system and the talent around them.
On any given day in the NFL no matter the system or the QB or team anyone can be beaten. It goes with the territory. That is normally called an upset and you see lots of them each Sunday the games are played.
What is a below average player at this level. These guys are all pros. Some might be better than others, but pros never the less.
I hope you get the answer that you are seeking and that is that Brady is better than Manning.
You will find those that have a different opinion than you.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

The SB rings is a very old arguement, and quite frankly, a stupid one. Someone on here once made a great point about using SB rings as a comparison for QB talent. Marino has 0 SB rings, so do I. Does that mean I am just as good as a QB as Marino? I didn't think so. Trent Dilfer actual has a SB ring, does that mean he is a better QB than Marino? Of course not. In my opinion, Manning is a more talented QB. Brady has been a very, very good QB as well but has had a much better TEAM around him over the past few years.
Brian down there doesn't get it either. Tom Brady has NEVER kicked Peyton Manning's @ss. The New England Patriots, on the other hand, have handled the Indianapolis Colts quite well in recent years. The question is who is the better QB, not which team is better. Manning is the more talented QB and all of the bastard Hollywood/supermodel children in the world isn't going to change that.
I didn't post any stats becuase this isn't an arguement that can be "proved" with stats and QB rating comparisons. I watch way too much football, and in my OPINION, I see Manning as the more talented QB which is the question at hand. And, again as I said, rings are irrelevant in the conversation as far as I am concerned for the reasons I have already stated. I brought up Brady's bastard kid, Brian, because your copy and paste job mentions dating supermodels as if they have any relevance at all to the convernsation at hand, which it doesn't.

What do you mean "dont say that there defense was great and got them to 3 superbowls while the colts had no D"??????
ever hear the line. "Defense wins championships"
and you cant judge a player by rings
is trent dilfer just as good as manning?
to win a super bowl, you need a good offense, a good defense, and a good coach. no offense to brady, hes great, but he had all the help he needed. his receivers were "below average", every game, at least one of them had a good game. brady had plenty of help, and look at the colts defense. the offense needed to put up almost 40 points every game just to win. i dont think a team like that could win a superbowl. and yes manning had a bit of trouble in the weather, but its not his fault. hes playing in a dome. brady was playing in the open air, so there was no adjusting needed for him

Okay. The SB rings argument is not old. Quarterbacks main job is to win games and super bowls. That said, Joe Montana is a better quarterback than Marino for that simple fact. QB's stats are secondary to wins.
Brady is a better quarterback than Manning. Manning is a GREAT quarterback with great stats and he finally got the big one last year, but Brady still has two rings on him and is proving that he could have had the same type stats with the recieving corp that Manning has had for years.

When they play against each other, the truth will be told. Just because Brady won 3 SuperBowls don't mean that much, you have to look at his stats during those games. What was his passer rating? How many yards did he throw for, etc. Compair the stats. To be fair, average the stats for Brady, to Manning.
I am not saying one is better than the other, but they do play against each other in a few weeks, and that game will be a deciding factor.

Don't worry about what other people say, fact is that Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning. Forget superbowl rings, forget wins, forget TD/INT ratio, he's just an all around better leader and when it comes to the clutch situation, he doesn't choke.

Manning wins. Brady has better receivers to throw to and his defence is that good, he has enough time to think of where he wants the ball to go. Even though the colts defence is good, they aren't as great and so manning has less time to through, yet they still win

I think Brady is a system QB, much like Montana was. That said in the system he plays in he is arguably the best QB in the game. I think Manning is way more talented, but in the NFL talent alone is not all it takes.
