Your rights to your child are dictated by the court's custody ruling. This is totally separate from the court's ruling on how much child support you must pay (even if the two are in the same court document). They are 2 separate entities.

The only way they are not, is if it explicitly states in the court document that you can't see your child if you are behind in child support payments.

No, that's not true. Child support is a financial obligation, but being behind does not automatically sever parental rights. If your ex says it does, then they need to be arrested for violating the custody agreement. You do get visitations whether they like it or not.

absolutely wrong... Child support..and visitation are 2 seperate issues..just because you aren't paying for the child--you can still see the child..
so, wherever you got this information--- it was the wrong information!
