I used to love these peanut butter things they had at school. They were definitely homemade and they weren't a cookie they were almost like a candybar but not as sweet. They were put on a cookie sheet and they would be separate in rectangles.

Now that I have confused everyone, have a nice day.

I wish I knew the recipe or what they were actually called.

Twinkies.

That was the first thing I wanted to buy when I walked to the corner convenience store on my own at 5. That was back in the day when it was safe for kids to walk the streets. I thought I was a real 'big' kid walking to the store on my own to buy a 15 cent package of Twinkies.
