I think your right there, Massa has a good chance to win his home GP as long as he can keep Kimi behind him. I think Lewis will see sense and just do enough to win the championship. Next year Im hoping that Kimi will be on form at the start of the season and do the business, even though I dont like Ferrari lol

I don't buy into the home country thing that much. Sure Mansell used to be amazing at Silverstone, but he was quite fickle off the track. So maybe things like that effected him.

Let's face it, Massa didn't win Brazil last year. Michael Schumacher lost it by firstly having to start 10th after a mechanical issue and then by losing his nosecone whilst coming through the field. In fact MS was just about to be lapped when he came out of the pits with the new nosecone, of course by race leader Massa.

He finished the race only 24 seconds behind Massa. Massa only other competition was Alonso, and he was happy to cruise home to his WDC. Michaels fastest lap was 0.7 seconds quicker than Massa's too.

For this race, the favourite has to be Kimi, simply because he HAS to win to stand any chance and he is the most on form of the big four.
Second favourite must be Alonso, in reality he HAS to win too

Lewis I think has learned the lesson from last week, going for the win in China meant he didn't win the WDC. He was far to aggressive and has said in interviews that he learned from this mistake. He will be happy to finish the position behind FA.
Massa, he is the least likely to win this race as he will have to move over if Kimi has any chance and he has been slower than Kimi for the last 4/5 races.

Having said all of that; I think the general pattern of the season will occur, if Mclaren is quicker - they will 1-2. If Ferrari is quicker they will 1-2. If they are even, then I think the most likely to win order will be as above.

I agree but since he has won three out of four tracks that are relevantly new to him, people just assume he would take it home. Now don't get me wrong, the guy has shown consistency and one or two tricks but Interlagos was put as the last race of the season probably because it is if not the hardest track there is. Interlagos tortures the engines and the other contenders have raced there before plus like you said it's Massa's home turf, nobody's expecting him to give it away at all but rather to fight hard. All eyes on Sunday now ehh...

I agree with you completely. This is Massa's track and he's been ignored in the news for the last two weeks. He'll want to prove himself in front of the Brazilian fans if Kimi has no chance of winning. It would be a complete disaster for Alonso if Massa wins. Alonso really does need first place to have a descent shot at beating Hamilton by 4 points.

I think that both the ferraris will push very hard. Hopefully Kimi wins and Massa comes second. Between Lewis and Fernando I think Lewis will win.

No denying it, Massa will be strong there. But of late he seems to be driving below par. So dont know.

Hamilton well, he was so strong in the last few races, he will definitely be wanting to win, but I think he would settle for a championship winning strategy during the course of the race rather than risk too much.

Massa is the only one who could damper Lewis' chances on the title! Massa is determined to win once more at his home GP and that'll make it even more challenging for the 3 contenders!

I think Massa will win. Then Lewis only has to finish fourth to get the title.

He hasn't managed to win there yet so why should this year be any different, also he is the number 2 driver and with the championship wide open do you honestly think Ferrari will let him when there is a chance Kimi could take the title.
Think about it.

Fair point, but if Massa wins the race, that helps Hamilton, who would then only need to finish 4th or higher to win, even if the filthy Dago comes second. Go Massa!
