My telly fizzled just before the start of the Eurovision song contest and I made up my mind not to get another one .... I lasted two days before I was on the phone to the catalogue. In all, I was without a telly for two weeks.
My sister and brother in law didn't have a television for at least 13 years, all the while their children were growing up.

I guess i could, because it seems like TV has become seriously crap, you look at the shows on in the daytime and theres just nothing i am interested in. I prefer films and internet to TV anyway so i could live without it.

Yes but it would be harder to do for the younger people rather than the older people because the older people are used to not having it as much. It would also probably change the amount of overweight people. You can live without it but some people are just over dramatic saying they can't.

Yeah, I could, but I'd prefer life with a TV. It lets you know what's going on with the world.

Yes, because since I found the internet I hardly watch the tv.
Plus if I lost interest in the internet , I love the outdoors anyway. And that is way healthier than sitting around a machine and steering there doing nothing.

Yeah. It would take awhile to get used to being without one but I'd survive.
I'd rather watch DVDs than watch the crap on TV anyway but if I couldn't even do that, fine with me.

I utterly despise the TV and everything that spews out of it therefore I don't have one and haven't since about 1997. It is vile rubbish that any truly sensible adult would not watch.

I guess I could because half the time, I switch it off and go on the internet as there's nothing worth watching on the box!
