I discovered a small hole behind my stove as I was cleaning to search for this stench in my kitchen. I wonder if a mouse has gotten in there. Can I just pour bleach in it or will I have to knock the wall down to get it out?

You can pour in as best you can ( funnel ) baking powder to absorb the smell and then tape over the hole. but the smell will diminish as the little mousy is smallish.

Well, I know you don't like this answer but in two weeks the smell will go away. You could try air freshener untill the smell goes away. I would not knock the wall down.

Well you should look everywhere under stuff, behind the stove and stuff. I had a rat who had babies behind my stove. I also had one that died and started to decay under my entertainment center in my living room. I hope you find it.

It will decay and the smell will go away. but am guessing you don't want to wait for that to happen. I don't think that bleach would help, but maybe some lyme (like what you put on the yard - not lime that you put in corona)...it might take the smell away a bit and help him to decay faster.

Give it about two weeks and it will stop stinking, for real. In the meantime, avoid the kitchen for a while and light some scented candles.
