I wish someone would stand up and speak about why everyday Russian President Putin is beating on the U.S.A. everyday. It's like Brittney Spears and Putin everyday in the news. Who really cares!

It's news because he's trying to find a way to be a totalitarian ruler even though the USSR was broken up and communism was overthrown.
Of course, that didn't stop the communists from coming over here and taking over our colleges and media outlets, but that's another topic entirely.

I think Putin is the teensiest bit more significant in world terms than Britney because Britney is only destroying herself, whereas Putin still has the capability of destroying several other countries, if not sparking off a new world war.
Of course, that doesn't mean you have to care, until your country gets attacked of course.

I think the leader (totalitarian leader) with the second largest nuclear stockpile in the world merits some attention when he speaks.

You should care. We all should. Don't think of Russia as weak. They may not be what they once were but, don't think they don't have a lot of fight in them.
