I agree it's harder not to make friends 'here'. After all, you get so much of others' thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

well, there's only a few people i would consider friends. but, they are more "online" friends. two of these people are even my "friends" on myspace. they tend to check up on me routinely and i do the same for them. i know, yahoo doesn't want us to build friendships on here because they want to avoid "chit chat". but, it happens. you learn more about each other through q&a's. it's hard not to avoid them.
