When coming off the depo shot, when do I start taking the pill again so as not to have a "non effective" time?

I've been on the shot only twice, my next scheduled shot day is November 17th. I need to know what date I need to start taking the pill again so that there's no "accidents" happening! Thanks!

Im in the same situation. The sooner the better. You pills need a month before they are good so you should start as soon as possible.

Talk to your doctor about it, they should have told you when to start when giving you your prescription.

I took it right around when my next shot (that I never got) was due.

Then it took three months to get my periods back.
