This is making me crazy, I can almost hear it. Thought it might be the Cocteau or Thompson Twins. It's up tempo, has all the animal sounds and I think the lyrics are something like 'let's something like the animals' or 'just like animals'.
Based one place I remember hearing it, it may have even been the late 70s.
