Your period has probably just not come back yet. It can take a little while after you've had a baby especially if you breastfed for a while.
However, you are probably on your way to having another baby as the Withdrawal method is very unreliable.

My husband and I did the same thing and I really thought I might have been pregnant 2 months after I had my baby and stopped breastfeeding. Then I got my period a couple weeks after that. It takes a while for your body to get back to normal. PS- The "pull-out" method is NOT always effective! Don't always count on it. I reccomend getting on the pill or using some other kind of birth control if you really don't want to get pregnant again.

If you are breastfeeding, this is one factor that delays your period. Even the doctors cannot tell when you will get your regular periods back. Every woman is different. Your doctor should have told you that you may become pregnant even if you do not have your period.
I was bleeding on and off up to the 4 month and had regular periods after about 2 months when I stopped breastfeeding.
If you feel pain or something different, consult with your doctor.

Your hormones are still all over the place. Don't worry. It can take a long while till it all gets normal. Unless you want another baby don't use withdrawal method. I have a beautiful 5 month old daughter conceived that way. (after 6 successful years using it...it just takes once!)

Your body is still adjusting but sometimes you it may be hormonal and you may need to get on the pill just to regulate. A friend of mine is going through the same thing, except she had her baby in March 07 and had only 2 periods since then. Her doctors said it was hormonal and the pill could regulate.

Every woman is different and breastfeeding definitely will cause delays. You might want to consult your OBGYN and have him prescribe you birth control. The pull out method is not a safe form of birth control... and the pill will probably speed up your regularity process.

I didn't have a period for 13 months after I stopped breastfeeding. Better use birth control, or you will get another surprise....

It should come. Give it a little more time before you start worrying about its absence.
