Missions and soup kitchens. Women can often find shelter if they are leaving an abusive relationship and homeless children can get into foster care. Salvation Army has beds for people getting off alcohol or drugs but not for current users.

In the UK there are many charities and organisations which try to address different kinds of homelessness (single person, family, young people, rough sleepers &c) as well as the issues connected to homelessness (drugs, mental health, institutionalisation, crime and probation, abuse, alcoholism &c).

Absolutely!! Depending on where you live there are different agencies out there that provide an abundance of services.

Would you be interested in divulging the general area (city) in which you live? If you are asking for personal reasons I may be able to help. If you'd rather not that's ok too.

Sincerely
Mee
