carpet? I am buiding a house and was wondering if it is hard or easy to lay?

It IS an acquired skill. You need certain tools and utensils for wall to wall carpeting.

No I haven't but my husband and my son have done they took a class at Home Depot they said it was very hard on the back and your knees! Good luck!

I have not actually done it but i have seen it done and it is not hard work especially if the room is empty.

depending on what kind your laying,,make sure you have a carpet stretcher
