my wife nags endlessly and withholds sex (only works on occasion since i'm an old man)
EDIT:
Allowed? No. But we all know what celibacy can lead to.

Excuse me? Control another person? Are you completely insane or power hungry?
We live in a time where marriage/relationships are about give and take. Tell you a little secret, I am married, I get pretty much what I want when I want, no with holding of sex, it's simple, I treat him with respect and he treats me with respect. We both have our parts to play in the marriage.
As someone has said before if you want something to control get a dog, or you might just find that for christmas you are opening a divorce petition and not the present you wanted.
And if you really don't respect your husband and his wants and desires and not just your own maybe you should think about seeing a solicitor before he does.

That's the problem Janet Jackson you want to be in control. Now women where born with the gift of control. You have a control box if you know what I mean but the thing behind it is your husband is human on top of being a man you don't control people we are not robots. If you want to control your man get him locked up in a jail.
All kidding aside. Don't demand, don't tell just ask. If that doesn't work do it yourself and make him feel guilty while you do it. At some point he'll see that he's a Jacka** and his manly instinct will kick in.

Yes a very straight forward answer.......
Don't! You can't control him. Marriage is a 50/50 and if your trying to take control of him, at best it's a disaster in the making. Who ever told you that you had the right to do that anyhow? You should be ashamed for even asking advice on this one.

What do you need a man you can control for? What's the pleasure in that, what fun???
Don't you like to know that he's a rock? That he's got his own mind??
I wouldn't like to have a clown of a man who jumps whenever I say so!
I'd like him to respect my opinions and if I'm right I'm right, and same for him.
I'd like to know that I can have some power over him, because he loves me, but I wouldn't want him to be a shadow of a man. What's the point?!

Maybe he is a free spirit, you won't have him long if you need to be in control of him a happy marriage is made from give and take and not control by either partner

Wow, that is strange thing to say! You are married, you should be equal. In my house sometimes I get my way and sometimes my husband gets his, most of the time we want the same things which is why we got married.

At least you're honest.
No person deserves to have control of another person. The only right thing to do here is for you to learn to let go.

I thought you married him for what he was not for what you wanted him to be. It should be equal. Would you let him control you - no I do not think so. So harmonise. Equality is not only for woman.

yes stop trying to mess with his freedom of choice as that's a sort of emotional bullying why control him is it because your frightened of loosing him? if it is your liable to lose him quicker by trying to control him why would you want to control him anyway i would look at your own insecurities.
