hell yea. and why? because i'm broke. i save all my change in a jug, only buy store brands, don't have cable, don't go shopping for frivolous crap, sell anything i can make money off of, and keep as much money in the bank as possible. i used to freak out if my checking account balance was under a grand.

Things add up. Biggest is food and drink - a $4 Starbucks every work day is almost a grand a year. Eating out lunch and dinner, another two grand. Invest that. Also, drive a cheaper car (not cheap, just not a $50,000 SUV). Those 2 things, and - cha ching!!! Retirement in Hawaii here I come!!

Yes, and I'm lovin' it.

I jar and sort my change, reuse it all the time. Stiff waitresses, shop @ dollar store, thrift stores, goodwill. Buy only dollar menu if I do to fast food, never buy snacks, soft drinks, fries, gum.
