WhereI live there are some amusements and there was a mock roller coaster ride that you sat in. It always played the same tune 'Daytona' - just a snatch of the song. I used to pass by there every day and the tune would stay in my head all day . That was about ten years ago but when I go past now I still sometimes sing it and it really gets on my nerves.

Lots of times i wake up with a tune in my head and it slips away before i can grasp what it was. I always listen to my ipod on the way to work and find myself singing or humming (if i don't know the lyrics) a song all day. Occasionally I'll get an odd look from a costumer as they see me humming and walking over to them but usually they just smile.

Yes. Usually I've heard it or a song with a similar tune that day or the day before. It's never anything good. In fact, there is nothing good on head radio.

Yes. Usually it's a catchy tune from church, or something I heard on the radio.
And did you know the only way to get rid of that tune is to have someone hear you and then pick it up? Once they start in on that tune, it leaves your head and you're free!

in many situations. those i'm thinking of now are "the next day Wendy" by making use of Concrete Blonde. And ever for the reason that i found out what "Hallelujah" is approximately, i've got felt weird and wonderful playing it around human beings. "candy Transvestite" and different songs from Rocky Horror. additionally, like others right here, i could not carry a track in a bucket ;-]

Yes. Usually it is the last song I hear or sometimes so random song I think of, and I sing it ALL day. People at work are always telling me "stop singing that song, you are getting it in my head!"

Yes and sometimes it was some silly commercial or the last song I heard on the radio or something my grandson was singing or an old song that popped into my head. I kind of like it. Sentimental silly old me!

yeah apparently they call them "earwigs" and thats not the creepy crawly type. I've been told if you sing the song in your head to the end it stops. Supposedly its because we only catch a snippet and thats what we hear for the rest of the day but listen to the end and it's said to stop. I'm looking for links that I shall add if I find
