I truly believe it was pure infatuation. I don't deny there was a huge attraction, which probably grew even more knowing that they were forbiden (because of the family issue).

In fact, I don't really consider it a good love story. I guess other people do because they die at the end. Come on, it was not real love! Even at the begining of the story Romeo claims to be in love with some other girl (before meeting Juliet). Real love needs time...

I think it was true love to them at the time. How many teenagers do you know who know they're just infatuated with someone as opposed to truly being in love with them...much less know the meaning of the word infatuated.

It was infatuation. They were too young to experience real and true love.
