I think he went bad before the sofa jumping. His plot to "get" poor little Katie Holmes is what sent him into his present delusional/psychotic state. He needs a good ***** slapping.

Top Gun was a good movie, as was Days of Thunder. I like The Last Samurai too. Thats probably one of his best.
He went bad when decided that scientology was a religion or belief system.
