Everyone is different in how they react to sex. Assuming that you are enjoying what is going on, you have a couple choices that I can see:
1. Don't worry about it. You don't have to be vocal during sex.
2. Try to relax and give in to the pleasure you are feeling. You may find that once you relax, you'll start making more noise without thinking about it.
3. I used to make very little noise during sex but I've been trying to let myself relax and make more noise/vocalization lately. I was self conscious about it before but I'm finding that my partner seems to get a kick out of it. As a guy, I enjoy it if my girl makes noise because I know she likes what I'm doing.

A variety of reasons:
laryngitis
recent tonsillectomy
thick and/or long male genitalia blocking your airway
maybe you are listening to your lover
concentration on the vacuum slurping sound created by the combined movements of you and your partner's genitalia

Everyone's different but I on the giving end really enjoy hearing it. It makes me realize just what exactly my partner likes the most! LOL It tells me just what to do at the right moment to make it Really, really good!

Not everyone does; if you've seen some porn and are comparing yourself to them, then don't... most of that is for show. Everyone's different. At least you're not faking it! It still feels good, right? :)

Maybe it does not feel good. Or maybe your holding back and are uncomfortable making noises.
