Remote Desktop Access......can someone explain the setup procedure please..?

To connect to my brothers computer (a couple of miles away) via the internet...do i need his I.P address . . . and is that the "name of the computer" i wish to connect to?

I know I'm going to need the "wizard" to set it all up, but has anyone else any experience of the procedure and can you enlighten me of any hurdles that I will come across

I've considered Logmein but what's the diff between that and the standard windows application?

If the target computer is behind a router, it'll be pretty hard. Best way is to use logmein.com
