We get lots of conflicting things coming from the media regarding the McCanns but I just read this on another site and if this is true ...... well ,it is disgraceful.
Your thoughts please ?
McCanns' legal team have made prepared statements to cover the 40 questions & more (innocent answers)and a story from start to finish for K & G, these will be read out before the interview and can be added to at the end after a conference with their legal team.
The Police will not have the chance to question them directly the McCanns will just say" Please can I direct you to our prepared statement at the start of the interview" and if the question is not covered by the first statement a simple "that question will be covered by our 2nd prepared statement with will be read out at the end of the interview"
That way the spin machine will say " K & G answered ALL question lets get back to looking for Maddy.
Unless there is hard evidence in PT these slimey little snakes are going to get away with

The media also think:
That Gordon Brown tonight will say to PT PM " this neglect thing on Mr & Mrs McCann could you have a word with the judge please, they have suffered enough losing a child and it would be a personal favour to us and all the uk tourists that visit PT"

Marieclare.... Exactly ! With the McCanns' track record on ducking and diving and hindering the investigation I can honestly believe that the above is true. Money talks in their game !

Debendaz....... yes, the McCanns seem to have totally forgotten about Maddy in the course of watching their own backs.

Jonquil..... I keep asking myself why Gordon Brown is falling over himself to help them ? If he put as much effort into sorting out the European Constitution as he is sorting the McCanns then he would get better thought of.

Helen O...... If these two had had nothing to hide they would have answered all of the questions put to them by the PJ but no, they have plenty to hide so they come scurrying back to the UK and dart straight to their high powered lawyers who then help them to concoct a pile of crap in answer to the questions.

Seven...... Well said. Unfortunately there are a lot of fools out there.

Justme..... You've not been kicked off AGAIN ?? You'll be up to Account 99 by the end of all this.

Helen... if you aren't paying attention and keeping up with the case then perhaps that's why you think the Mcs are
the poor victims in all this.

2007-10-18 09:07:06 · update #9

Helen....The police wouldn't ask questions like you suggest.... where they are obviously not able to answer. They would ask such things as... Who was the last person to see Maddy alive, Do you drug your children, Do you ever lose your temper with the children. Are you able to cope in your daily life, Do you make a habit of leaving your children alone ? That kind of question ,where they would obviously know the answer.
Anyway Chick we 'll agree to disagree xxx

Trancebabe...... Excellent answer. It no doubt echoes lots of other people's thoughts and worries. I agree it make me depressed also at the fact that these two will perhaps abuse their position as far as money and friends in high places to get away with this. Very sad. Makes me ashamed to be British and have Brown as PM running this country. If he's doing this then what else is he doing? I will never trust this man again . Rant over.

Another McSpin saga...
AS Always Its all about the parents now and poor Maddy has been neglected once again .....
this is what money, power and good contacts does for you.... Remember this one folks, if you cant answer police questions get an expensive lawyer and QC to do it for you.... or ask the McGordon PM to help you out ....
It get more of a JOKE every time I hear the next episode in this saga... cant wait for the film and the McCann autobiographys.

I wonder if that is one of the technicalities Pinochet used to get off with his appalling crimes. I think people should start SERIOUSLY questioning the Prime Minister's role in all this.
Referring the police to a prepared statement is not the same as being questioned. It is a very clever way of avoiding any slip ups or contradicting yourself which is really the whole point of being "questioned". Otherwise, why even bother having to go to the police station at all you could just send in your prepared statement. I bet Gerry is laughing up his sleeve at how clever they are being as they are sure to get away with this crime especially if Gordon Brown personally asks the Portuguese PM to make sure they do. The whole thing reeks of deceit and corruption.
Very interesting post even though it has depressed me at the thought of there being no justice for little Madeleine.

Nothing would surprise me anymore about this whole charade, it has been sinister from the beginning and only a fool wouldn't be suspicious. No the wonder they are so 'cocky', I'm still reeling from Gerry's 'find the body and prove it' to the Police... These vile people are so guilty and I hope they throw the key away......

But like I have said before, it just goes to show what money and power can do.. talk about corruption in it's most evil form... The devil sure does look after his own......

I honestly don't know what to think about this case. You're right, there are so many conflicting stories and statements. Hopefully, the authorities will continue to concentrate on what is the most important issue and that is finding Maddie or what happened to her.

Keep an open mind kids! Remember there's no evidence to suggest Maddie is even dead, let alone they killed her! Forget all the crappy unsubstantiated DNA crap... End of the day if there was even a shred of forensics, child services would be on the couple like a shot for their twins!

You don't really want and answer to this do you!! At least not according to replies you are giving to others.

This is just your PO and it is not a question. What do you want the answer to??

edit....
You do not have a link up. What exactly do you think they are getting away with!!

edit..........
Another newspaper link. I am not interested in what they have to say. Simply because I tried to put a comment on one of their sites and my comment was cut so much it was non- recognisable. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could through them. Newspapers will say ANYTHING to sell newspapers.

seven ............... Where was that written that he said that. You've lost me

little weed...................
Questions are not always as cut and dried as that. What if they were asked.
1. Who took your daughter.
2. Who murdered your daughter.
3. Was it an accident.
4. Where is Madelaine now.

Do you get my drift. How in God's name would they be able to answer these. That is just a few. Imagine another 36 similar ones.

edit................
You don't know that they were asked those questions either.
So considering none of us know what the question were. I should think that we would agree on that one.
All I am saying is we should not jump to conclusions.

Maybe she was answering questions fine for all we know, up until she realised that they were trying to blame her for Maddie's disappearance. Maybe that is why she stopped answering them. While they are still aguido's she cannot answer them now, as it would be prejudicial to any case they might bring. If that was the case then I wouldn't blame her for not answering them.

Wether the McCanns did or did not do it this circus has lost the momentum the real thing Maddie is still out there dead or alive.
She has been forgotten in all this

this might sound harsh but i could not really give a Flying F**k about the Mccandonowrongs anymore.

I feel that poor little Maddie has been forgot about over the past months as the papers are to wrapped up in the are they or are they not Guilty of MURDER.

They have had a few months to think of the answers to the question but still had to get lawyers to do it!!! And it does look like, with so many people covering their backs they will be laughing all the way to the bank.

she seemed more interested in how she looked as she paraded to church each day the last thing i would have thought to do had it been my daughter would be to change my earings each day the pair of them dont ring true to me they should at least be taken to account for leaving their children alone
