no hun. you don't pawn it.

but, i have been there with feeling of what the hell do ya do with it.

you can make it into another piece of jewelry.
or do like alex said, but that is kinda of a waste lettin it just sit there and remind you of what WAS.

make a new piece and make it symbolic to you.

love ya girl! sorry this is something you are having to go through. but i have been there

Depends on what ring you're talking about. If it's your wedding ring, you should put it on every morning (or better yet, never take it off). If it's a ring from your ex-boyfriend, stop wearing it as soon as you want to get on with your life. If it's just a ring that you used to like, find one you like better and put the old one away for now. You may want to dig it out and wear it again some day.

You might as well. I found it took me a long time to remember to put my ring on, not to stop putting it on. When the splits in my relationships with both hubbys (now long ex's) were so hurtful I simply didn't want anything to do with them or their broken promises so gave 'em away (rings as well!) and good riddance say I.

no, don't pawn it. i'm sure it still has some great memories attached to it. it would be like ripping up a picture, which i don't believe in. just put it away and have it there to look at when you need to. maybe you just want it to remind you of what not to go back to.

I should have pawned mine but I was angry and hurt so I threw it as far as I could throw it into a lake with him watching!! It made me feel better, no reminder laying around!!

Just put it away.
It doesn't serve anyone's purpose to rub his nose in it.
Although it would feel good I'm sure. lol
Being respectful and dignified in my opinion, would be the way to go. You're too classy a lady to play vengeful games.

I tossed it in the garbage. Didn't even want to sell or pawn it. It was discarded as she discarded the marriage.
Great feeling.
Good luck.

Sell it! Buy yourself a new ring. And commit to you! Never look back! Good luck!
