ok, on my last post i thought my monitor/video wasnt working, but it was working fine, i took out one stick of ram and it worked fine(the comp ofcourse) but when i put 2 sticks it would boot, but turns on and off every 3 secs...and now its stuck like that even though i put 1 stick in..my mobo is p35-ds3r..someone plz help :D..ty btw i dont have a speaker case or speaker motherboard to show me the issue..

Definitely sounds like a bad power supply. Fortunately as mentioned before a new power supply is relatively inexpensive and can actually be very good because if you upgrade your power supply then you can install more components to your computer like a more powerful video card if you are into gaming. But in any sense, just take your computer into Best Buy, Circuit City or your local computer shop and they can have the problem fixed in no time.

It sounds like your power supply is 'shot'. Fortunately they are cheap to replace -- even from a computer repair shop it would cost less to replace the P.S. than to buy a new computer.
