No, I would not. People still believe you can get HIV/AIDS from basically touching. If you have an open sore, that's a different thing, but I wouldn't throw away a friendship because of a disease.

My cousin, wih whom I was rather close, was among the 1st 100 people in the US to DIE of AIDS. Little was known then about its contagion or treatment, but i did NOT forsake him in fear of my health. A deserving friend deserves one's continued love and support.

NO,there should be no such thing as STOPPING being someones friend.You either Are or you Aren't???....I hope this helps out.This is the problem,with so called friends,in this World we live in.

I wouldn't treat them any different...but I would be more caucious if they somehow cut themselves & started bleeding...I wouldn't scream & run away...I'd just be careful not to get their blood on any cuts that I might have..
