Im very frustrated and need your help w/ 2 problems.About mid July I noticed the 1st problem with the power seats. The heat in both all of a sudden go on.Its happened several times and the dealer said they found no problems cause the heated seat light never comes on but it gets red hot so much that bare skin feels like its burning. To please me they replaced the switch for the 2nd time but they won't do anything else now because they say they can't find anything.I told them to disconnect the swtich until they find the problem. The second problem is with the navigation system. When Im driving the screen goes black and if the radio is on everything electronic shuts off for a few seconds. They had the car for a week and found nothing but 2 days after I got it back theproblem was back. The dealer said they updated the computer or something but I still have the problem. They said they can do nothing more. Who can I contact? The manager at the dealer is a jerk.BMW cust svc is a joke. What else???

Not a BMW, but I had good luck by contacting Honda Corporate with problems. I suggest you do it in WRITING. Many times, companies are more carful when responding to complaints in writing, as it will leave some clear evidence of what you said and what it say.

If you don't get satisfaction from the customer service, contact their supervisor, then manager, then director, then CEO. Usually, you don't have to go that high.

Try to find out who the BMW District service Rep. is in your area, and contact them face to face. If the dealer you are dealing with will not help you try another dealer.

Take your car to another BMW dealership and give them the background of your situation. Dealerships are business' and they would like to have you as a customer as well, so they will do a good job hoping you will come back to them.

And I would also call the customer service 800 number and ask to speak to a supervisor, when you get one ask to speak to his manager...eventually you will get to someone who can help you.
