I guess from sorrow. I usually cry when I watch something sad on TV or read something sad.

A mixture of the two actually...life experiences are sometimes very sorrowful and then at other times happiness abundant!!

Normally sadness just to let it all out,but there are occasions such as when a movie turn out with a happy ending where it might make me shed a tear lol.
