what ever you prefer. It's all the same. However do you want to be the newbie when others have been there since the fall.

I started college in the fall. It just seems right for some reason. People have been starting school in fall since they were kids. And instead if you did start it in fall that leaves room for vacation.

The sooner the better. If you're applying now--go for spring. No sense in waiting. You'll get your feet wet before all the newbie freshmen show up in the fall. This way, you'll be one step ahead of them.

No one is better them the other. It depends when your course you choose is starting. If I were you I would start when the others on your course do.
